Fullstack Engineer
Location: Oslo, Bergen, Bodø, or from anywhere in Norway
Salary: 850-980k NOK/year
Fullstack Engineer
Help us create the software that is changing Norwegian healthcare.
🌍 Why this role matters
At Aidn, we're operating and creating the missing healthcare platform all Norwegians deserve—an integrated set of services and applications that allows municipal institutions, healthcare professionals, social workers, and citizens to collaborate on healthcare matters as a single team.
We’re proven we can deliver to smaller municipalities, scaling quickly and will soon onboard larger municipalities and thousands more users, transforming our platform into a part of critical infrastructure for Norwegian healthcare. Behind every product team delivering life-changing tools, there’s higly skilled software engineers that make sure what we build is the best solution to their problem and at the same time loveable, fast, secure, and reliable.
That’s where you come in.
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll help us operate and innovate with confidence. Your work will enable healthcare workers to save time and have tools they can trust and empower them, giving them more time to give care to their patients.
This role is not just about building—it’s also about impact. And the decisions you help make now will shape how healthcare is delivered for years to come.

🔧 What you’ll be working on
As part of Aidn you’ll help evolve and operate the software that powers our mission-critical healthcare platform. Over the coming months, this will include projects such as:
- Bed Logistics - Right now, providing an overview of available beds in municipal care homes is a top priority for team Back office. Having this insight is key to ensuring resources are used in the best possible way. With the current shortage, giving municipalities a clear overview will help them optimize capacity and ensure more people receive care when they need it.
- Operational Insight - As part of team Back office you will own the insight module that administrative personnel use to get an overview of their operations and expenses. Part of our mission is to give decision support to our users, where this insight will enable municipalities to make better decisions on how they operate to be able to optimise operations further.
- Developer experience is important for you to thrive but also your colleagues. Maintaining and improving our experience is an investment cherished by all and enables us to work faster and with ease.
- Observe the impact you develop using our LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir) and Amplitude. We care about what we build and continuously observe its impact to make sure that we build the tooling our users need and want.
🛠️ Current Tech Stack
We believe in reducing complexity by choosing modern, reliable tools that are proven in production—favoring simplicity over novelty, and stability over hype. We're on a journey of continuous improvement, and we make technology decisions that support our business goals, developer experience, and long-term sustainability. These include:
- Programming Languages & Scripting: C#, .Net, React, Typescript
- Cloud & Hosting: Microsoft Azure
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Crossplane, Jsonnet
- CI/CD & GitOps: GitHub Actions (self-hosted), ArgoCD, GitOps
- Observability: Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir (LGTM stack), Pyroscope
- Security & Access: Teleport, ZScaler, Azure WAF, Mnemonic
- Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL, Kafka
- Developer Platform: Backstage, Service Catalogs, Developer Tooling
🤝 What we're looking for
We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who’s curious, collaborative, and motivated by building systems that matter. You move fast, take initiative, and focus on impact over polish—delivering solutions that are solid, reliable, and good enough to grow with.
🧠 Must-Haves
- Production experience delivering and operating infrastructure at scale—you’ve written the code, not just drawn the architecture.
- Initiative and adaptability—you’re comfortable learning new tools, solving unfamiliar problems, and wearing many hats.
- Strong communication skills—you write clearly, explain your thinking, and help others do their best work.
- A service-oriented mindset—you get energy from making things better for other developers and teams.
🌟 Nice-to-Haves
- Experience designing or improving CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, or developer tooling.
- Background in a regulated industry like healthcare or finance.
- Time spent in a startup or fast-moving environment where you’ve had to figure things out quickly and independently.
💬 Personal Attributes
- Collaborative & Clear Communicator – Works well across teams, builds trust, and brings others along.
- Honest & Direct – You say what you mean in an emphatic way and value transparency.
- Supportive & Service-Minded – You help others level up and keep things moving.

In 6 months:
- You’re a go-to person for questions related to what you have built and a dependable force in our delivery process.
- You’ve taken ownership of a piece of your domain—maybe a new feature, a shared service, or even a new subdomain.
- You’ve helped improve how we work—whether through automation, documentation, or nudging us toward better defaults.
In 12 months:
- You’re assisting initiatives that improve user experience, resilience, scale, and developer experience across the company.
- You’ve helped embed best practices across product teams, improved developer experience, and reduced friction on behalf of our users.
