Product Operations Manager
We all have family and friends who have experienced frustrations with the healthcare system — repeating their story to new healthcare workers who don’t have access to the relevant records. Again and again. New faces. Same story. Binders hauled between offices explaining treatments. Time wasted. Patients suffering. They shouldn’t have to.
Healthcare systems are not coordinated, not synchronized, and they don’t communicate. Healthcare professionals need to record identical activities and measures in multiple systems. We don’t suffer from a lack of information in healthcare, we suffer from information sprawl. We shouldn’t have to.
As product builders, our work is important to our employers, but at some point, we all ask ourselves the same question: Is the work itself important?
Our ambition is to give Norwegians the missing healthcare platform they deserve. An integrated set of products and services to allow institutions, clinicians, social workers, and citizens to interact seamlessly on healthcare matters.
That’s where you come in. Here’s your chance to put your talents to work for a purpose.
We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency of our product organization. You’ll play a crucial role in building a product organization that not only operates efficiently but is driven by insights and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes.
At Aidn, we believe that empowered product teams can accomplish amazing things when given the right support. As a Product Operations Manager, your mission is to remove blockers, streamline operations, and ensure that every product team has what it needs to deliver impactful solutions. This will enable our product to enhance its value proposition and for Aidn to succeed.
Every day, you will be working to solve problems like these:
- Own and manage key processes: Work with product teams, Prod.ops team, customer success, and the broader organization to map out and optimize key processes, like product development lifecycle and feedback loop.
- Optimize tools and workflows: Continuously improve the tools and systems used by product teams, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing productivity.
- Identify and resolve operational blockers: Quickly address workflow issues, keeping product teams focused on impactful work.
- Standardize templates and processes: Create templates and frameworks that ensure consistency, speed, and clarity in product development.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Act as a central link between Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and efficiency across all product operations.
We think you bring the following qualifications and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar.
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management or similar roles, preferably in enterprise SaaS.
- Experience managing feedback loops or similar processes that involve gathering, organizing, and routing information to relevant teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational blockers.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing tools and systems to support cross-functional teams.
- You understand when to standardize or introduce process and when to let teams run.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
If you have the skills, experience, and drive to juggle these varied responsibilities, we have the right team for you. Aidn currently operates with 11 product teams, each following our proven model of a product trio comprising a product manager, tech lead and design lead, complemented by a team of skilled engineers and designers. The Product Operations Manager will join the Product Operations Team, working alongside a Product Analyst and Senior Product Researcher, and will report directly to the Director of Product Operations.
Other things to get excited about:
- 6 weeks of vacation
- Opportunity to take part in our employee share scheme
- The opportunity to contribute with your work, to a purpose-driven company
And there’s more! — Aidn has the advantage of being a member of the Kernel family, a collection of like-minded companies focused on building the next generation of health services for Norway and beyond. This association gives us access to advisors across the entire healthcare ecosystem, sufficient capital to support the long runways required by our ambitions, and the strategic partnerships needed to realize cooperation across today’s siloed landscape.
We think you are intrigued by this. We believe you want to join us. And we think you know why. We believe you want to put your talents to work for a purpose.
We think you will thrive at Aidn if…
- … you have strong communication skills and can articulate your ideas and the rationale behind them clearly
- … you are a respectful team player who enjoys collaboration, is energetic, and has a "can-do" attitude
- ... you are not afraid to take initiative and have a strong sense of ownership
- … you are passionate about improving the future solution within the health domain!
Aidn recognizes and celebrates diversity in all its forms, visible and non-visible in all areas of the work environment. We work to promote an anti-discriminatory environment where everyone feels safe and welcome.
